Hi, my name is Lauren A. Konate, and I’m a wife, mom, personal chef and event planner. Growing up, I developed a passion for feeding people and found joy in knowing that I could bring satisfaction through my cooking. It all started watching my mother and father cook for our family and friends. As a family, we loved to entertain so whether it was having our friends over to do crafts after school, or hosting Sunday dinners, we always found a way to bring people together around food. I graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI and have more than 20 years of experience in the food service industry, with the last 6 years being at a Director level, where I managed multi million dollar accounts, and oversaw the construction of multiple restaurants.

I am currently embracing my role as a stay-at-home mom! My husband and I have two wonderful children, Mattox (5) and Jaxon (3)! My days are now full of caring for them, which at times is all consuming! We have a family youtube channel, Konate Party of 4, and I am excited to have a little free time to share a peek into our home, to hopefully inspire creativity in yours!!
